Instructions
Tracking your Deed cards is simple and fun. Using this tool, you can track where a deed started, how many times it inspired another deed and how far from home the inspiration got.
If you have a card with no code on the back (like the image below), follow these steps:

- Personalize your card with a series of letters or numbers in the spaces provided. You can use as few as three and as many as eight (3-8). Create a code you can remember or jot it down. You’ll use this code to track your card later.
Special note for groups or organizations: Want to track your deeds as a group? Simply use the same code for every card your group gives out. - After you do your deed, come back to the site.
- Go to Track a Card.
- Fill out the form and tell us your deed.
- You can leave the description blank for now, or if you already know the deed you’ll do before handing out the card, go ahead and share. Be as detailed as you like.
- Click submit to view your entry.
- Check back every now and then to see if anyone else has submitted a deed using your code.
If you have a card with a code filled in on the back (like the image below), follow these steps:

- Go to Track a Card.
- Fill out the form.
- In the description, Tell us how you received the card. Did you just find it? Did someone do a deed for you and leave a card? We’re all ears.
- Click submit and view your entry. You can also see how many others have entered your card’s code.
- Jot down the code so you can come back and track the card again.
- Now, go do a nice deed for someone and pass the card on.
- Come back to the site and tell us what deed you did.
- Check back every now and then to see if anyone else has submitted a deed using this code.
