I decided to give clothing to a teenage boy whose family could not afford to buy the name brand clothing or expensive sneakers. Children at his high school ridiculed him and poked fun at his attire, causing him to have low self esteem and not even be interested in school. I donated name brand shoes and clothing to him and it how he feels about himself and gives him a sense of pride and has restored his interest in school. It is important for a teenager to fit in, though it may seem small to us adults, feeling good about oneself on the inside and out, boosts self esteem and gives confidence that they are somebody.
