I bought two pieces of ply-wood each was 4X8. I planned ahead and brought ropes and other items to help secure them to the roof of my little Versa. I was in the parking lot trying to get the large wood pieces on my roof and a young man approached me and asked how far I had to go. Three miles. He said he would be glad to put the wood in his pick-up and drive them to my house. I accepted his offer. Wow – what a nice gesture.
