My son is a security officer, at a motel.
He befriended a young couple who were on bad times. She is pregnant and denied love and acceptance now by her family. Her and her boyfriend live in a hotel room…with not much more then their clothes. She is pregnant. She wants to keep the baby.
My son told me about the young mother to be and her situation. My son and I went shopping and purchased all that she would need to care for her baby.
I bought her a crib, plenty of clothes, supplies, formula, diapers, blankets, and being a pediatric nurse, I also offered my services to teach her newborn care, and will offer free babysitting- so she can work and go to school. I challenege others to do the same for young mothers out there who are alone, scared, and in trouble. Take them under your wing, and show them that a baby is a blessing. Help them to start off mothering on a better foot then how they were raised. Pay it forward. Save TWO lives instead of one.
