The past several years, I’ve found a way to support a good cause AND good people. I buy several boxes of Thanks-A-Lot cookies at Girl Scout cookie time. I store them in the freezer and use them as thank-you gifts throughout the year. At the end of the year, I use my last box to say “thank you” to a co-worker who has been a great support or gone out of his or her way to help the rest of us during our busiest season at work. I used to use rolls of Lifesavers but I feel this brings the goodwill full circle.
