It’s been years since I baked cookies from scratch. But today I put on an apron, dusted off the old cookie sheet and made chocolate chip cookies. Tomorrow I surprise the mailman.

My husband delivers mail here in Wichita Kansas. Carol one of his route friends, made some yummy treats for him to bring home!
On a cold Kansas winter day it is always uplifting when someone shares a little food fuel with the mailman!
