Strike up a conversation

Everytime I am in the presence of a young person, I make it a point to strike up a conversation. I read an article once that stated teenagers are “feared” because of the media only reporting “bad” stories about “bad” kids. The result has been people not engaging with the young. So the next time you are in the grocery store ask that young person scanning your food how their day is going. They are our future after all. You could very well be talking to the doctor who will treat you someday…:o)
