Through a program called Success in the Middle, I volunteer with at-risk students at an inner-city middle school. I help with homework but our conversation always leads to home life, college and friends. No job is not to give advice but be a friend to these kids who don’t have an adult to lean on. Hopefully I inspire one to go to college.
